According to the DJSI 2021 indices, Grupo Nutresa is considered the most sustainable food company in the world by obtaining the highest distinction granted by the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices in the food sector, in addition to the first position in the World Emerging Markets and MILA indexes.
There were 106 companies in the food industry worldwide evaluated by the DJSI based on their corporate practices around the different dimensions of sustainability, with Grupo Nutresa presenting superior performance in eleven material issues that reflect the organization’s efforts to have a resource-efficient operation focused on caring for people, to generate economic development and social progress with the least possible environmental impacts.
The Company has been part of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for eleven consecutive years, which is evidence of its management, leadership, and conscious work in the implementation of sustainability practices and the creation of value for its stakeholders.
